Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls with nearly 72,000 Members in 121 countries.

In Ireland, we have 15 Clubs that work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable women and girls to reach their potential.

Clubs choose projects that work towards ending poverty, eradicating abuse and hunger, providing education for all, achieving gender balance and preserving the environment.

One Tree at a Time…

To celebrate the centenary of Soroptimist International, Soroptimists from all over the world planted native trees throughout 2021.

A beautiful oak sapling was presented to all 15 clubs in Ireland by the Tree Council of Ireland to mark the centenary year. We hope that all the young trees will continue to grow for many years to come and will be enjoyed by future generations.
